Unemployed and Trying Stories; Single Mothers Need Assistance

We would like to thank you all for your unemployed and trying stories. We encourage you to send us emails with your stories! Please vote on the Unemployment Benefits Extension poll as well!
- Although I am unemployed and have accepted all the extensions up to date and now have no income, I pray that these congress members will do what is best for our country as a whole. I ask God to direct them.

- I am a single mother with to children. I have been without benefits for to months. I have never been unemployed. I can not find a job this is the worst I have ever seen the recession in my life. I really think that you would have to be in my shoes to feel the pain. I can’t beleive that it taking so long to pass the HR3548 bill. Republicans, aren’t helping this suititation at all!!!! Thanksgiving & the Holiday’s are around the corner. We can’t even put enough food on the table or gas in the car. This is so sad. The senate should be ashamed…
- While I sit here and worry about bills getting paid, sick children, insurance not paying up, I feel great comfort in knowing that the people responsible for this mess are still taking millions away from the very people who gave it to them. I would not want a major company CEO or a bailed out bank president to do without a new Benz or a 3rd vacation house. When all the little people are squashed, who is going to take care of these fat cats?
